I'm disputing a 2 year old traffic ticket for a moving violation. How do I convince the jury?

I'll be alone in court. This is a new experience for me. The ticket was given to me by a very mean chief of police. The ticket was given for driving on the opposite side of a narrow street to go around a large hole where I got a flat tire a week before. What can I expect, how do I prepare and how do I win? I took a driver's safety course, I took photos of the hole & other drivers driving around it the way I did. I sent for my 3 year excellent drivers record. (Two years ago) The chief also wrote the wrong month on the ticket.
